CANDLE CARE TIPS

1. MAKE YOUR FIRST BURN COUNT.

The first burn of your candle is the most important in determining how well the wick will perform for the rest of the candle's life.
Give your candle enough time to create an even wax pool across the edges of the candle before blowing it out. This will take between two to three hours

2. TRIM YOUR WICK BEFORE RE-LIGHTING YOUR CANDLE.

Untrimmed wicks lead to tunneling. For the best burn, keep your wick trimmed to about 1/8". Simply trim the wick before each use to help the wick perform properly.
If your candle flame is smoking, check the height of your wick and remove from drafty areas.
If there is soot build-up on the glass of your candle, you may wipe it clean with a damp cloth once the candle is extinguished and completely cool.

3. MAXIMIZE THE FRAGRANCE OF YOUR CANDLE.

Our senses are designed to naturally acclimate to our surroundings, so you may notice that if you stay in the same room as your candle for an extended period of time, you will stop smelling your candle as strongly. This is completely normal. Simply step out of the room for a few minutes and return. You will notice that the scent is stronger than you noticed before.
Also, the diameter of the candle affects the size of the room that can be fragranced.
For a more sizable room, choose a candle with a wider diameter that creates a larger melt pool. You may also burn multiple candles in the same room to intensify the fragrance.
